1. What Rentahin is
Rentahin is an online classifieds platform where people and shops in the Philippines list equipment for rent and talk with renters. Rentals, payments, deposits and handovers happen directly between the renter and the lister. Rentahin is not a party to any rental and does not hold money.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Philippine mobile number. Keep your number and login codes to yourself; never share a code, even with someone claiming to be from Rentahin. One person, one account. Listings for a business must be posted by someone allowed to act for it.
3. Listing rules
List only items you own or are allowed to rent out, with honest photos, condition, price, deposit and requirements. Do not put phone numbers or links in titles or descriptions. Not allowed: vehicles (for now), weapons, regulated medical devices, anything illegal to sell or rent, and anything stolen or counterfeit. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Renting safely
Agree on dates, price, deposit and pickup in the Rentahin chat so there is a record. Pay a downpayment only after the lister confirms; never pay in full before seeing the item. Use the pickup and return checklist photos. Leave honest reviews after the rental.
5. Disputes
If something goes wrong, report it from the booking. We review reports within 24 hours, may share the booking record and checklist photos with both parties, and may suspend accounts. We cannot force refunds or payments; you may also go to the barangay, DTI or the courts.
6. Internet Transactions Act
Listers who rent out as a business must give accurate business information when asked. We act on takedown requests and complaints as required by Republic Act No. 11967.
7. Liability
Rentahin is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from a rental between users. Nothing here limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law.
